Gail Mancuso Announces Online Art Gallery
CHICAGO: Gail Mancuso Photography has launched an online art gallery and shop at www.gailmancuso.com. The addition of the direct to consumer channel is innovative for gallery-level photographers.
The gallery and shop have been designed to broaden the scope of her audience and make her award-winning artwork more accessible, through a robust display of her portfolio as well as direct to consumer pricing.
Gail Mancuso, the artist, stated, "I've always wanted it to be easier for my clients and collectors to view my entire body of work, from the convenience of their home or office. In addition, by selling directly to the customer, we can offer a significant price concession, which makes more of my work available to more people."
The new online shop displays a wide range of price points, sizes and frames, each produced and shipped from one of Europe's premier production houses.
Mancuso, a former model, uses her experience in front of the camera to inform her creative vision, often using multi-layered urban images and mixed media to evoke emotional reactions to the beauty and edge of the city. Her work has received international acclaim, and her iconic "Synchronicity" series, each of which contains over 300 individual images, hangs in the mayors' office of Chicago and San Francisco, as well as in a permanent museum collection.
