HIALEAH, Fla.: Florida National University (FNU) is pleased to announce that they have become a member of the Organization of American OAS Consortium of Universities!

The Department of Human Development, Education and Employment (DHDEE) through its OAS Scholarship and Training Programs provide scholarship opportunities for academic and professional development studies to citizens or permanent residents of OAS member states. The goal is to strengthen human and institutional capacity and foster integral development throughout the Western Hemisphere.

To achieve this goal, the Department of Human Development, Education and Employment created the OAS Consortium of Universities in which scholarship recipients may study in recognized educational institutions of the OAS member states.

Through the OAS Scholarship and Training Programs, the Department of Human Development, Education and Employment (DHDEE) provides academic and professional development scholarship opportunities to citizens or permanent residents of OAS member states. The Organization uses a four-pronged approach to effectively implement its essential purposes, based on its main pillars: democracy, human rights, security, and development.

FNU will co-sponsor ten (10) scholarships per academic year, under the Academic Scholarship Program both in-person or distance education. Included in this scholarship are the following Graduate School Programs and the following Bachelor of Science Programs:

• Master of Business Administration
• Master in Health Services Administration
• Bachelor of Science in Accounting
• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
• Bachelor of Science in Finance
• Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration

Professionals and prospective students from an OAS Member State who would like to pursue these degrees can apply for this scholarship.
