ELKHART LAKE, Wis.: ElkhartCares, a community-based nonprofit organization that serves the Elkhart Lake area by supporting the citizens and establishments in the community that need a helping hand, will host a virtual fundraising concert, Music by Moonlight: A Night of Music for ElkhartCares.

Chanteuse Nina Herzog (The Swan Princess, Patrick Williams) tours a century of song with legendary trumpeter Tony Guerrero (Paul McCartney, Tom Scott), drummer Jonathan Pinson (Herbie Hancock, Kamasi Washington), guitarist Balam Garcia (Haley Reinhart, Justin Nozuka), and the renowned twin-brother musicians Jack Lipson on piano and Benny Lipson on bass. Through an evening of standards, showtunes, classics, and originals, Nina and her quintet examine music’s perennial power to stir and unify its listeners.

Guests can enjoy the live broadcast concert from the comfort of their own home, on Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. CST. Those who wish to see the virtual concert are asked to register with a tax-deductible donation of $30. Once attendees are registered, they will be emailed a link to view the live broadcast performance.

“This concert is about bringing the community together in a positive way to do good for those who are experiencing hardship,” Nina Herzog, renowned vocalist and songwriter, who also serves as Executive Director of ElkhartCares, said.

ElkhartCares is raising money to benefit local community members who need assistance with basic living needs, and for local scholarships for a variety of educational options such as college credits for high school students, music lessons, extra-curricular interests, continued education for adults, or tutoring for children who need extra assistance.
