Edge computing platform Pixeom Inc. has raised $15 million in funding

The Santa Clara, California-based startup PIXEOM the market leader in software-defined edge computing company started by SAM NAGER (CEO & FOUNDER) has proudly announced that PIXEOM has secured $15 million capital funding from Intel capital, national grid an energy delivery company and from its previous investor Samsung catalyst fund and others. Which comes after when revenue grew four times year-over-year to hit double-digit millions, and shortly after Pixeom crossed a major milestone of over one million deployments.

The funding will help the company in continue scaling and in delivering its end-to-end edge computing enterprise software and diligently expanding its client base including Intel, Google, SK Telecom, Vodafone, and National Grid. According to the company, the platforms APIs (e.g., machine learning, FaaS, stream processing) are designed to deploy and manage large-scale, geographically distributed infrastructure and workloads with the speed of on-premise edge computing like Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure. Pixeoms software recreates and orchestrates cloud functionality on-premise. It offers a seamless developer experience with tools for building and debugging containerized applications that are intended to run on the edge. Pixeom customers leverage the platform as a highly commercialized delivery vehicle for their edge workloads.
