Raghav is a final-year BA student who has this burning passion to become one of the best stylists in the world. He is currently studying Fashion Styling at the Institute Marangoni, in London. However, his passion for fashion evolved with time. He considers himself lucky to have figured out his passion so soon.

At first glance, his life would seem like a fairytale to a stranger Well, take a closer look at his glamorous life, and you’d know the struggles he has faced that triggered him to move forward in life!

As a teenager, Raghav struggled with extreme bullying, to a point that he eventually had to drop out of school. He was home-schooled for the rest of his student life before he learned about a career in fashion. After that, he never looked back in life.

He shared his thoughts with a source, “This industry just seemed like a fairy tale, where you can create things and you wouldn’t be judged, it is your playground.”

Before he moved to London, Raghav interned at MissMalini.com and was offered to write blogs on fashion and style, which only fueled his passion for the art.

His journey to the renowned Institute of Marangoni started when he was in Spain as an exchange student, and one of his friends told him about the course.

He immediately applied for it and rest, as they say, was history. He describes his experience at the university as amazing.

Still, in his final year, Raghav has already worked as a stylist with high-fashion magazines such as Elle and GQ!

His latest achievement includes styling superstar Deepika Padukone for her Cannes 2019 appearances! He also styled her for the prestigious Filmfare Awards as well as during her wax-figure unveiling at the Madame Tussauds. The young lad currently works as a stylist for Shaleena Nathani.

Raghav believes in working hard and believing in one’s craft. He doesn’t think that going to a college is a pre-requisite to building a great careering fashion, and for that matter, in any industry.

“It does help if you have studied something fashion related when it comes to fields aside from Design. I know so many people who didn’t go to fashion school but have senior positions at publications,” he told a source during an interview.

He also has a few words of advice for the aspiring fashion designers and stylists!

“I feel like anyone can be a part of this industry. You should have to have the drive and the passion to read, create, research, know your history and just keep creating. Your skills will develop.”

He further adds, “Be confident and believe in yourself, no matter what!”

Well, he hasn’t even graduated yet but the list of his achievements is proof that this young man is going to cause an explosion in the fashion industry. Here’s wishing Raghav a lifetime of success and may he never get tired of working on his art!
