D K Mohanty assumes charge as RINL's director (commercial)
New Delhi: State-owned RINL on Thursday said Deb Kalyan Mohanty has assumed charge as its director (commercial).
Prior to this, Mohanty worked as an executive director at Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) said in a statement.
"Deb Kalyan Mohanty assumed charge as the new director (commercial) RINL-VSP on August 1, 2019. Prior to this assignment, he worked as executive director, chairman secretariat in SAIL," it said.
In RINL, the commercial directorate mainly takes care of marketing and material division.
Mohanty, who has over 30 years of experience in the steel sector, started his career in SAIL as a management trainee (technical) in 1986.
He has worked on various assignments in SAIL starting with the Bhilai Steel Plant in Chhattisgarh and as a branch manager, regional manager and head of export group in marketing division during his tenure in SAIL.
Mohanty holds an M.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University.
