Cold conditions persist in Rajasthan
Jaipur: Cold conditions prevailed in parts of Rajasthan on Wednesday even though there was a slight increase in minimum temperatures in the state, a Meteorological department official said here.
Pilani has recorded the coldest place on Tuesday night at 4.4 degrees Celsius, he said.
Jaisalmer and Bikaner recorded lows of 6.4 degrees Celsius each, while it was 6.5 degrees Celsius in both Sikar and Ganganagar, and 7.4 degrees Celsius in Phalodi.
In a 24-hour period ending on Wednesday morning, the maximum temperature was the lowest in Ganganagar at 12.4 degrees Celsius.
The weather department forecast said fog was likely in many areas of the state.
