Bose Portable Home Speaker with Google Assistant and Alexa Support Launched, Promises 360-Degree Sound and Deep Bass

The luxurious US-based audio equipment manufacturing company, Bose has announced the launch of a Portable home speaker, which comes with in-built support for both digital assistant, Alexa from Amazon and Google assistant form Google. The proprietary system for voice pickup of the device will help in executing the commands and input is done accordingly to the Google or Alexa.

Bose promises that the device will be offering an improved 360-degree surround sound with deeper bass and battery life up to 12 hours. As the device has support for multiple digital assistants, you will be getting access to music, news, weather and many more and also get support for Bluetooth, Wifi, Airplay 2 and Spotify connect support. Airplay users can easily stream from Apple devices.

The device is very light at just 2.3 pounds or around 1 KG. The device also has some water repelling nano coating might be the IPX4 rating, which helps the device to get protected from light showers and near the pool. The device measures at 6-inch tall x 5.6 inches wide X 4 inch deep.

The device will be available in two different colours, which are the Luxe Silver and triple black. The device was priced around $349, which is roughly Rs.25000 for the Indian market and people can grab it from 19th September only in the US. There is no word from Bose about the device lunch in different markets, but India lunch is confirmed, and the price is Rs. 26,900. The device is now available in Amazon.in for pre-order on the sale on 29th August. On the same day, you can also buy from offline stores directly from Wholesale trade partners and Bose stores. The official statement is yet to be announced. Users will have to buy the charging cradle separately as it is not included in the box. The charging cradle is priced at $29, which is around Rs.2000 after conversion.

The device is equipped with its acoustic package to deliver leading class audio. There are some buttons on the smart speaker. On the top, there is a button to off the mike to disconnect the microphone. Other buttons include playback controls, volume up and volume down and Bluetooth on/off button. The music device is capable of connecting to other Bose speakers to create multi-room music playback. The device works with the Bose Music App and adds some extra functions to the table. The buttons on the device are touch buttons.

The company has also promised to give a software update for synchronization. The body of the Bose portable speaker is made of anodized aluminium, which includes three passive radiators with a higher excursion driver and a deflector to create clear sound and flow in all directions
