VERO BEACH, Fla: Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., (JCP) of Johnson City, Tennessee is proud to announce that, along with his family, Billy Harp, author of Where Have All the Mountains Gone?, Lydia, and Scrabblin', and Failed Dawn is being featured as the 20th Annual IRC Pioneer Family of the Year at the Heritage Center in Vero Beach, FL.

Billy W. Harp is a graduate of Vero Beach High School, University of Mississippi, and University of South Florida. He currently lives in Winter Beach, Florida with his wife, Kathy, and his pomeranian, Bitzi. He is the proud father of two sons and daughter-in-laws and two grandchildren. He enjoys traveling in his motorhome, camping with fellow retired teachers, as well as visiting his sons.

Billy Harp is a member of the Hamilton-Mathis family, and they receive this honor as a whole. The recognition event is set to take place on Saturday, April 27, at the Heritage Center in Historic Downtown Vero Beach, FL. Harp and family will be presenting a PowerPoint at the event based around Harp's titles: Where Have All the Mountains Gone?, Lydia, and Scrabblin'. The event is by invite only and begins at 6:00 pm.
