ADP India kicks off vaccination drive for employees & family members

Hyderabad: ADP, a leading provider of Human Resources Management Software & Services, has started a vaccination drive for all its employees and their families, free of cost. To ensure the proper implementation of the vaccination strategy in the company, ADP India has tied up with Rainbow Hospitals in Hyderabad and Chennai, and Jehangir Hospital in Pune to authorize and administer the vaccine. The program will feature the Covishield vaccine as per the government set guidelines on the vaccination eligibility on age and time gap between shots.

ADP India stated that employees will be vaccinated in pre-fixed phases in the office premises to avoid clustering at the venue. Employees based in Hyderabad will be vaccinated in their office located in LCC, Kondapur; Pune employees in their office at The Square, Wadgoan sheri and Chennai employees at their Tamarai Tech Park office, Guindy. The Work from Home regime has ADP’s employees spread across the country. To facilitate vaccination to all its associates, the drive ensures that employees residing in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam can visit Rainbow Hospitals and get the shot.

As of the first day of this drive-in Hyderabad, more than 450 beneficiaries had taken the vaccine, and the Company expects to offer the dose to an additional 49,500+ employees and dependents by the end of this mass vaccination, which will end in the third week of June 2021.

For seamless administration, ADP asked its employees to first register on CoWIN application and then book a slot per individual on the ADP in-house registration application using their CoWIN registration reference ID.  Upon registration, the employees will be receiving a confirmation email and SMS with the appointment details, preparatory precautions, and good-to-know information along with a permission letter issued by the partner hospitals for each location for verification.

Stringent safety protocols will remain in place through various measures to avoid infection, such as thoroughly disinfecting the office throughout the vaccination period, requiring employees to wear masks, avoiding unnecessary crowding, and phasing the recipients of the vaccine. Volunteers from ADP India and the hospital will be present throughout the vaccination drive to ensure adherence to all the safety protocols.

“As an organization grounded in a healthy company culture, we believe it is imperative for ADP India to take this step in proactively offering vaccines to protect our ADP family. This is to ensure that our associates receive the shot at a familiar environment and at their convenience. By inoculating our employees, we aim to contribute to a faster national recovery from this unfortunate crisis. We are encouraged by the significant increase in vaccination availability, helping us assure the community that there is, in fact, light at the end of the tunnel,” Dr. Vipul Singh, Vice President & Head of Human Resources, ADP said in a statement.

The company has stated that the initiative is purely on a voluntary basis. If the employees feel safer getting the shot from a medical practitioner of their choice, the company will reimburse the full vaccine cost for the employee and their family. ADP has undertaken this initiative for its 10,000 employees and their families, benefitting an overall 50,000 people to encourage a safer future together.
