Actor Mouni Roy Launches 92.7 Big Fm’s ‘Treepublic’, An Initiative To Support Plantation
The cause, which falls under the radio network’s purpose-driven initiatives aims at creating awareness & importance of plantation amongst the citizen
Mumbai: 92.7 BIG FM, one of India’s largest radio networks which have been constantly voicing its opinion on issues pertaining to the environment through its campaigns like ‘Hawa Tight Hai’ and ‘Plastic Beku’ now comes together with IDFC FIRST Bank for the launch of ‘TreePublic’. The cause, which supports plantation of trees and throws light on the importance of plantation, was launched by renowned actor Mouni Roy along with IDFC FIRST Bank’s representative Mr. Shreepad Shende, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.
As a part of the campaign, 92.7 BIG FM has on-boarded the services of GrowTrees.com to ensure the success of the plantation. Star actor Mouni Roy also came in full support for the cause and pledged to contribute towards a healthy, clean & green environment. Throughout the campaign duration, IDFC FIRST Bank aims at planting thousands of saplings till its culmination i.e. January 26, 2020.
Commenting on the initiative, actress Mouni Roy added, "We are all aware about the environmental issue we have been facing but it's time we act upon the same and take measures to preserve our nature. Whatever little we do today will contribute to our own clean and green future. I am delighted to be a part of the association where 92.7 BIG FM & IDFC First Bank have come together with the initiative of 'Treepublic'. I strongly feel this cause will create awareness and build an impact amongst the citizen in order to save and contribute towards our environment."
