MINNEAPOLIS: Representatives of The Latitude Group, a technology services firm based in the Twin Cities, has announced that Hillary Spreizer has been named President and has assumed ownership of the organization. Spreizer has been employed by The Latitude Group for the past ten years, most recently as Vice President of Services. She takes over from former President Dorreen Schmidt, who founded the company in 2002.

"I'm energized and excited to take The Latitude Group to the next level, particularly as we move forward from such a turbulent time in our industry and our lives," said Spreizer. "While growth will be one of my primary goals, I'm also committed to helping drive some of the bigger issues within our industry today, including the need for greater diversity and better representation of BIPOC communities within technology."

"Hillary has been the primary face of The Latitude Group from a sales and client services perspective for some time now. The extraordinary longevity of our relationship is attributable to her passion for delivering outstanding service and only the most qualified consultants for our IT initiatives," said Jesse Braasch, Senior Vice President of Health Technologies at Wex Inc.

Founder Dorreen Schmidt will continue to work with Spreizer over the next few months to ensure a smooth transition. The Latitude Group will remain a WBENC-Certified Women's Business Enterprise.

"We've been working on this transition for some time and I'm excited to see where Hillary will take the organization next. I couldn't imagine a better person to lead The Latitude Group forward," Schmidt said.
