6.5 magnitude earthquake jolts Chile

New Delhi: On Monday, an earthquake, measuring 6.5 on the Richter Scale, struck Chile, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

NSC said, the epicenter of the quake was situated 607 kilometers north of the capital Santiago and the temblors depth was 10 kilometers.

So far, there are no reports of damage to property and casualties.
