28 Day Vegan Straight Edge Challenge to benefit Canada's largest Farm Animal Sanctuary
MONTREAL, Quebec: Animal Protection Activist group Ma Voix Pour Eux invites the public to participate in a 28 Day Vegan Straight Edge Challenge as a fundraiser to benefit Refuge RR; Canada's largest Farm Animal Sanctuary.
A Vegan diet has been proven to be very beneficial to human health, cause no harm to Animals and has a much milder impact on the environment and climate change as is caused by Animal Agriculture.
The Challenge, starting May 1st, asks participants to go 28 consecutive
days without consuming any Animal product in their diet as well as abstaining from alcohol and unprescribed drugs. The duration of the event is 6 weeks. This allows for broader participation and an opportunity to try again should one fail to follow the challenge early in the event.
Participants may also seek sponsors to match their 28$ donations and they can donate any amount their heart desires. Donations need to be made via E transfer.
The Refuge faces several daily challenges, from hay shortages for the animals, unexpected vet visits due to an animal being in distress and needed proper care.The Refuge is home to over 200 rescued Animals from most Quebec and Ontario.
